Poly domes - Metal domes

The user will perceive a good tactile feeling by using poly or metal domes in silicone rubber keypads, membrane switches, interfaces or on the PCB.

There are domes of different sizes & force values and the domes can be manufactured according to customer specification.

During the actuation of domes over a contact point the domes will be squeezed between the circuit layers of a membrane switch or over the contact area of a PCB. The electric circuit will be closed when the actuation force has been exceeded and the domes collapse.
